Lakhani silk holds 'Summer Celebrations Begin' exhibition

Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool's wife, Rubina Khalid inaugurated the exhibition displaying Designer Zunn's Collection titled Summer Celebrations Begin, organised by Lakhany Silk Mills (LSM) at Pearl Continental.
For today's women a summer wardrobe like the stuff that was showcased at the exhibition would be more appealing, said a visitor to the exhibition.
Various people bought lawn prints from exhibition.
Marketing Manager Babar Khan said that LSM displayed a collection of various prints which included Gascani chiffon, Rasnata embroideries and Gelsa Voils.
He said that Gascani chiffon was influenced by French chiffon with an array of colours and patterns.
Rasnata embroideries were influenced by the early 19th century traditional pattern which was rich in bright tones.
Gelsa voils were Swiss Voil blended with doria weave in florescent and icy pastel shades.
