VISION AW14 to be held from Jan 29-31

DANISH FASHION WEEK has received a lot of credit from both in- and external visitors, and at VISION we look back at yet another successful fashion week. More than 350 brands have been represented at VISION during the 3 exhibition days, and we want to thank all brands, agents and all our visitors at the exhibition.

Our priority to focus on the trade and to raise the level in the exhibition halls in general has turned out to be a major success. We want to get even better though, which is the reason why we at AW14 have decided to extend opening hours to 3 weekdays to reach out even further globally by focusing more on business.

What our exhibitors need the most right now is to sign some contracts and to earn some money. Moving the exhibition days to weekdays gives the buyers one more day to do business, and we would like to create and become a well reputed platform for this kind of business, says Brand Manager at VISION, Trine Lindegaard.

COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK has also been spotted abroad. The fact that we are focusing on “the real deal” has caught the attention. Among others Sophie Warburton from The Telegraph gives the event a lot of credit:

“Copenhagen is probably the most refreshing fashion week in the world. Unlike other fashion weeks, what you see at Copenhagen is what you get. Everything that walks down the runway will be available to buy. How refreshingly straightforward”.

At the SS14, VISION was able to welcome more than 40 new brands. Among these was Whiite and for the Sales Manager at Whiite Charlotte Jørgensen it has all been a positive experience.

We have been thrilled to be represented on VISION. Especially the priority of organizing and planning has meant a lot to us. Quickly after signing up, we received an overview over the exhibition hall and our stand, which gave our visual merchandisers the opportunity to plan the perfect look to represent our brand to visitors and buyers. We had a fantastic and very busy exhibition. Everyone has been very helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed. We expect to be back at AW14, says Charlotte Jørgensen.

Director at Nordahn Agentur, Lise Nordahn, who represents no less than six foreign brands including Hoss and Twin-Set was most satisfied with the days on VISION.

It has been a couple of years since we have last had a stand on the exhibition, but I must say, that we are very happy and satisfied. We had a super location with space and sufficient room for all of our brands. We gained many new customers, especially from the Swedish stores. VISION especially turned out positive for us, because the exhibition being so well organized and unsnobbish, says Lise Nordahn.

On VISION we welcome the positive feedback very much.

We believe that the unique mix of middle- and highfashion clothes and brands of high international class in an exclusive environment has attracted so many both new and oldbrands. We are very proud having represented brands like Munte plus Simonsen, Tusnelda Bloch, Annette Görtz, Elise Gug og Bøgelund-Jensen and we of course hope to see them all again at the next exhibition, says Brand Manager Trine Lindegaard. VISION AW14 will be held on Wednesday 29th – Friday 31st of January.
