Luda Nikishina

A trained designer Luda Nikishina launched her line in St. Petersburg in 2009. In 2011 she started up production in Moscow and also opened her own showroom.

The successful designer now even operates an online shop. Inspired by crystals and polished stones Luda Nikishina designs functional and stylish apparel for urban women with her 2014 Spring/Summer collection.

It is packed with clear-cut lines, bold combinations and strong colours like candy pink, ochre, light blue and lemon yellow. Her line includes a wide range of coats and casual jackets with graphics and pure lines.

Decorations are kept to a minimum underscoring the uniqueness of the cuts: one-piece sleeves, voluminous raglan sleeves and straight silhouettes. For her garments she uses both natural and man-made materials: silk, wool and polyester blends and natural lambskin.

Everyday by Tamara

“Apparel is a woman’s second skin and must be perfect,” says designer Tamara Umakhanova. Her collection pieces are elegant, comfortable, versatile and stylish and are made of French and Italian silk, wool, jersey and satin.

For her “everyday by Tamara” collection the designer has draws on inspirations from a maritime theme park and a trip on a cruise ship. The current collection features blue, emerald hues, ivory, and white shades.

Delicate details stress the romanticism and sophistication of the garments. Business and cocktail dresses as well as skirts featuring exquisite, graduated shades from blue to milky hues are designed for women to wear both at the workplace and later in the evening.

Pohjanheimo

The designer Ülle Suurhans-Pohjanheimo is a household name for fashion design in Scandinavia and the Baltic States.

She opened her Pohjanheimo Fashion House in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia in 1991. Her current collection centres on the idea of purity and silence.

Clothing is the ideal canvas for women, which is why various shades of white form the background. Contrasting fabrics such as silk, organza and leather keep the design interesting despite simple cuts and silhouettes.

The next CPM − Collection Première Moscow will be held at the Expocentre fair grounds in Moscow from Tuesday, 25 to Friday, 28 February 2014.
