Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014 starts today

As soon as designer Haizhen Wang brought the London Fashion Week curtains down with his shimmery creations, Italy became the next hotspot for industry heavyweights who have joined a host of famous international labels prepping up to show at the Milan Fashion Week (MFW).
Scheduled to begin from today and would run through September 23, 2013, the event will showcase more than 74 catwalk presentations featuring new Spring/Summer 2014 collections from a talented mix of both seasoned and up and coming designers.
Known for its high-octane glamour content, the hotly anticipated fashion soiree is expected to feature a range of sexy, elegant and fun outfits from the world famous names like Gucci, Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Prada and Dsquared.
In addition to big names, several young designers, such as Stella Jean, will feature their collections at the prestigious do. The Rome-born Haitian designer Stella Jean will share the catwalk space with Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani at MFW.
