After launching her Somerset Girl line with the UK-based high-end department store chain John Lewis earlier this month, the British fashion designer Alice Temperley is back again with yet another collection with the same retailer.

The 38-year-old fashion talent has launched a new 23-piece lingerie and nightwear range inspired from vintage styles and the famous Le Smoking tuxedo women’s suit by the French couturier Yves Saint Laurent.

Slated to hit the stores from October 1, 2013 onwards, the innerwear and nightwear pieces are decorated with Japanese floral prints and delicate Australian lace trims.

Infused with hints of masculine tailoring, the collection includes elegant kimonos, French boudoir-style camisoles, sexy bra and brief sets, silk nighties, pyjama tops, palazzos and a sleeveless black jumpsuit accentuated with ivory piping on tux-style lapels.

Founded in 1864, the London-based John Lewis operates more than 43 stores throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
