Designer Jonathan named to under 40 list

All 40 Under 40 honorees will be recognized at an awards celebration on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Houston Zoo and will be featured in the Nov. 1 issue of The Houston Business Journal.

Tinkle, 22, is a native of Houston. He credits his entrepreneurial parents, John and Mandy Tinkle, and his younger sister, Amanda, other family members, friends of all ages, his clients, the cultural diversity of Houston and its pro-business climate with providing him inspiration as well as supporting him in pursuing his dreams early in life.

“It is a huge honor to receive such a prestigious award from The Houston Business Journal. For me, being named to the 40 under 40 Class of 2013 means that all of the hard, behind-the-scenes work that I put into launching my business has been publicly recognized. I started sketching women’s clothing when I was 14, and I spent more than three years honing my designs before introducing my first collection at a runway show in Houston in October of 2012,” Tinkle commented.
