Veteran English fashion designer Vivienne Westwood has partnered with the international luxury fashion destination Matchesfashion.com to unveil an exclusive partywear collection.

Inspired from the 72-year-old’s immensely popular archived designs, the ensembles feature the famous squiggle print from Westwood’s Autumn/Winter 1981 Pirate line.

Titled as Red Carpet Collection, the five-piece delicate lace and satin made pieces are based on the designer’s signature hourglass silhouettes.

Scheduled to be available from October 9, 2013 onwards, the line features fitted cocktail dresses and full-length draped gowns in pink, monochrome and caramel hues.

Founded in 1990, Matchesfashion.com specializes in a range of cutting-edge men’s and women’s fashion apparels and accessories from nearly 200 designer brands including Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga and Saint Laurent.

Born in Tintwistle, Derbyshire, Vivienne Westwood is been largely credited for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream.
