Rihanna set to release her final line for River Island
Oct '13
The immensely successful collaboration between famous Barbadian singer Rihanna and British retailer River Island is coming to an end as the former is soon going to release her final collection for the high-street label.
The 25-year-old songstress is gearing up to unveil the last instalment of her Rihanna for River Island line, which will include an array of chic partywear ensembles for the winter-2013 season.
Scheduled to hit stores on November 7, 2013, the 40-piece range is made using materials like velvet, denim, faux fur, tartan and shiny metallics. The collection includes bodysuits, winter coats, textured gold dresses, tunics and floral print skirts and high neck tops.
Other than the main range, a limited edition edit, consisting of 100 pieces of each design, including black leather skinny trousers, snakeskin imprinted bra tops, shorts, skirts, truckers and Cossack hats, will also be introduced at the same time.
In addition to lending her creative inputs to the designs, the US-based hitmaker has also shot a campaign, wearing some of the pieces from the latest line, in few picturesque locales of sun-bathed Greece.
Rihanna had launched the maiden segment of her River Island collection, designed under the guidance of her stylist friend Adam Selman, at the London Fashion Week’s February, 2013 calendar.
Founded in 1948, headquartered in London, River Island operates over 300 stores in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Russia, Holland, Poland, Belgium and Middle East and also offers worldwide shipping through its website.
