Pure London to focus on French brands at forthcoming show

Pure London, the premium event for progressive fashion buyers, has announced France to be the country focus at the forthcoming February show, set to feature a large number of premium French brands.

This is an initiative Pure London will repeat with a nominated country focus at each season going forward.

The French brands selected to exhibit at Pure London in February will be housed in both the newly-formed Agenda section, as well as throughout other areas of the show.

Pure London has secured over 35 of the most sought after French brands who will all showcasing their forward order AW14 or short-order SS14 collections at the show.

This is the first time Pure London has had a country focus, a move which show orgainsers i2i Events hope will help both French brands in achieving export with UK retailers as well as providing British and international buyers with a selection of the best French brands in the market.

French brands exhibiting at the show in February include contemporary womenswear brand IKKS which will be unveiling its AW14 collection to buyers. Dresses form a central part of the IKKS range, with embellishment and lace detailing often used.

Joining IKKS at the show, contemporary French brand Paul & Joe will also be showcasing its line of bags while another contemporary womenswear brand from France, Lilith, will also be showing its AW14 collection at Pure London. Lilith combines art and fashion to produce a selection of stunning pieces which are sold in more than 300 stockists worldwide.

Returning to Pure London for a sixth consecutive season is renowned French brand Petit Bateau, which focuses on optimism and energy with its AW14 range.

Meanwhile Parisian brand Grace & Mila will be bringing its own take on Parisian chic to the show. Inspired by Princess Grace Kelly, the brand aims to provide collections that are relevant and accessible to all.

Elsewhere accessories brand Nat & Nin will be bringing a colourful and contemporary range of leather handbags to the show, while.

Parisian designer Léo Guy, will be showcasing the AW14 range from his eponymous womenswear brand. Said to exemplify luxury and refinement the Léo Guy brand consists of feminine suits, evening gowns and knitwear pieces.

Making their Pure London debut this season, contemporary womenswear brand Fuego Paris will be showcasing its range of knitwear and prints while cotton brand Blanc du Nil will also show at the event for the first time. Blanc du Nil has chosen to exhibit at Pure London with the intention of finding partners in the UK and developing the brand here.

Classic womenswear brand Bleu D’Azur will be presenting both its AW14 forward-order collection as well as its SS14 short-order collection at the show. Comprising comfortable fabrics such as jersey and stretchy cotton, this collection offers plenty of colourful and glamorous dresses elegant silhouettes.

Contemporary womenswear brand Eva Tralala will also be at the show, with its line of urban-inspired pieces designed to cater for the active and dynamic woman.

Other French brands appearing at the show include René Derhy, Mat de Misaine, and IXLI.

Pure London is set to return to its roots for the February 2014 edition, following major investment from parent company i2i Events Group, and will see premium brands, emerging designers and trusted sector expertise brought together to a create a focused and inspirational buying experience.

At the heart of this will be Pure London’s five re-edited sections; Aspire, Agenda, Allure, Spirit and Footwear & Accessories.
