Textile designer Neeru Kumar unveils online portal
Dec '13
Keeping pace with the evolving Indian Fashion Market and maintaining the same synergies with the online retail trend worldwide, veteran designer Neeru Kumar extends her brand into the online space and launches www.tulsionline.in.
Traditional techniques, contemporary sensibility, and innovative use of color is the hallmark of designer Neeru Kumar’s work, acknowledged today as a landmark in the evolution of Indian textiles.  For hand woven textiles, Neeru Kumar is unquestionably one of the best and most creative designers in India.
Indian Fashion and Textile industry being progressive, designers and brands have been enthusiastic in adopting online as a serious channel for creating awareness, generating interest and creating new sales channels. Established in October 2013 Tulsionline is an extension of the Tulsi brand.
“An online presence for business is pretty much a requirement today. It is indeed a powerful marketing and communication tool and an environmentally friendly way to work,” says Neeru Kumar.
Her repertoire consists of two principle ranges: textiles for the home and garments for women and men, both traditional and western. The range includes: bedcovers, cushion covers, throws & wall hangings and accessories such as shawls & scarves along with an extensive range of garments which are either woven, printed or embroidered.
The merchandise available online is same as that available in stores. Online presence helps the brand cater to a larger audience. Tulsionline has an extensive collection of Garments, Accessories and Home Décor.
Neeru Kumar markets her own products through nationwide established boutiques with shops in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Jaipur, Chennai and Hyderabad under the brand name of ‘Tulsi’.
