Mar '14
It’s time to wave the flag and experience the football fever as the world’s biggest single-event sporting competition; the 2014 FIFA World Cup awaits its unveiling ceremony. Riot, a contemporary youth fashion brand by Suditi Industries Ltd. has successfully bagged the Apparel licensing rights of FIFA this year. Suditi Industries Ltd. has been into knitted garment production for the past 20 years.
As part of the deal Riot is going to roll out exclusive merchandise which will entail not only t-shirts but shorts, boxers, polos, track pants, sweatshirts for men, women & kids.
Targeting the sports-lovers and young enthusiasts in India and abroad within the age-group 18 – 35 years, RIOT strives to target  trend driven active lifestyles, with older demographics becoming more responsive and aligned to great fashion offerings.
Upholding FIFA’s own art packs and enhancing them with youth centric designs which includes embroidery, appliqué, prints, especially heat seal, cold wave and micro hd, RIOT’s collection has been divided into different themes such as country based, the mascot lines, the stadium lines, football inspired prints and official FIFA tag lines and slogans. All the designs find their inspirations from the 2014 FIFA World Cup theme which revolve around the Brazilian Kaleidoscope, love for football and culture.
Pawan Agarwal, Managing Director, Suditi Industries Ltd. states, ‘We at RIOT, aspire to provide a brand which focuses on path breaking offerings competing to eliminate the cost and quality trade off.
According to Global Industry Analysts, the sports apparel industry is expected to exceed $126 billion by 2015, our association with FIFA promises worldwide acceptance and increased sales to strengthen and globalize RIOT as a Brand. Having scaled three successful years in apparel retail arena, RIOT brings a holistic fashion offering’.
