Rising Spanish fashion designer Moisés Nieto goes online

After creating waves with his innovative designs at 2013’s Mango Fashion Awards and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid, the rising star of the Spanish fashion industry Moisés Nieto has taken another giant leap in his short yet extremely rewarding fashion design career by launching his e-commerce website. 
 
The newly unveiled online store showcases the Instituto Europeo de Madrid alumnus’ recently released Spring/Summer 2014 collection campaign images, shot in collaboration with Noel Quintela, Falkwyn Ferviú Goyeneche and Natalia.
 
Named as Lola, the collection is inspired from the designer’s mother and includes 1970s-style pieces, such as skirts, jumpsuits and sleeveless tops, in summery shades of light blue and white as well as bold deep glamorous red.
 
Winner of 2012’s Madrid Fashion Week’s emerging designers’ promotional platform Ego, Moisés Nieto is known for his 100 percent Spanish made designs comprised of finest quality cotton poplin (thin cotton blend fabric made from silk or wool) and Mikado (silk).
 
The designer was also a part of eBay’s last year’s collaborative venture with 20 Spanish fashion designers. The limited-edition designer range titled New Talent Shop, which had designs from the likes of Jarabowtie, Krizia Robustella, Manémané and Reche Manifesto, included a grey sweater with flower and duck motifs designed by Moisés Nieto.
