Pure London, the premium event for progressive fashion buyers, has confirmed the dateline for its upcoming August edition. Taking place at London Olympia from August 3-5, 2014, Pure London will showcase forward-order SS15 and short-order AW14 collections across contemporary womenswear, young fashion, footwear and accessories.

Following on from an extremely successful show in February which saw the launch of five re-edited sections, Pure London will continue to showcase the very best product from a range of acclaimed UK and international brands in distinct areas; Allure, Aspire, Agenda, Spirit and Footwear & Accessories.

Building on the changes unveiled at the February show, at the forthcoming August edition, Pure London will redefine its footwear and accessories sections to enhance the identities of both areas.

As a result, brands will enjoy a brighter space and it is hoped that the changes will improve visitor experience bringing more buyers to those sections.

Previously footwear brands were located in the 02 Hall and part of the National Hall Gallery but, following the changes, all footwear brands will be moved to be in the one area around the National Hall Gallery.

As a result of this move, the accessories brands that are currently in the National Hall Gallery, will be relocated to take over the Grand Hall Gallery and also extended into a new section in the Upper West Hall.

Pure London has said that it will unveil more information about its plans for the redefined footwear and accessories areas in the lead up to the August show.

Meanwhile, Julie Driscoll, Portfolio Director for Pure London at i2i Events Group, has been crowned Event Director of the year at the Exhibition News Awards.

These prestigious awards, dubbed the exhibition industry Oscars, recognise achievements in producing the best events and exhibitions in the UK. Julie saw off stiff competition from rival exhibition organisers to scoop this award, which praised her direction of Pure London.

Julie has been overseeing Pure London since the February 2013 show and headed-up the re-editing of the event last season, which was praised by brands and buyers alike.

Commenting on her award win Julie said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been selected as the winner of this important industry award. I have a fantastic team working with me on Pure London and this award is also testament to them and the fantastic show we have.”
