Morocco is considered as a land of many splendored beauty and culture and now, fashion designers are trying to inculcate the country's essence in their creations.
Carmem Salerno, a Brazilian designer, is fascinated by Morocco and her latest collection of jewellery is inspired by its tradition.
Line includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings that have a distinct Moroccan touch to them.
Clasps and details of these ornaments are made of Moroccan silver, famous for its pureness and are sold under brand 'Annbar' meaning a kind of perfume in Arabic.
This silver is imported from a trading company in Los Angeles.
Though the designer is in no way related to Muslim or Arabic decent, Salerno insists that the culture is mesmerizing to her.
She explains that she has moon and star tattooed on her wrist and the sitting room is designed in Moroccan style.
Carmem also produces products in Indian and Brazilian styles.
These products are sold to jewellery stores in the local market and are also exported through the Annbar site. Company has also reported considerable sales to the US market.
