While Wacoal may be new to Leia’s stable of brands, it has established itself as one of the largest intimate apparel companies in the world. Originally founded in Japan, Wacoal has been creating high quality and comfortable lingerie – developed using the latest technology – for more than 50 years. And, like other Leia-stocked brands such as Huit, Wacoal have gained a reputation for producing high quality designs that offer beauty, fit and comfort.

Online and instore, Leia features a wide selection of other lingerie brands. Names such as Fantasie, Elomi and B.tempt’d are among the most popular. Leia’s collections are also available in a range of cup sizes, with lingerie and swimwear on offer up to a K-cup.

So far, the most popular Wacoal collection from Leia has been Embrace Lace. This is a simple yet stylish collection, which features a Signature floral lace pattern, combined with a soft mesh fabric. Together, these provide a high level of comfort, shape and support. Embrace Lace is available in a full cup style bra in cup sizes C to E-cup; as well as a moulded bra style from a B to an E-cup. Leia offers Embrace Lace in the essential everyday colours of white, nude and black.

Among the other Wacoal products proving popular with customers is the Wacoal Red Carpet strapless bra – with nude being the most demanded colour choice. Leia attribute the healthy sales of this style to the approach of the summer months, as Red carpet offers shape and support for off-the-shoulder outfits.

Leia also revealed that other popular Wacoal collections include the Sensational Smoothing Hi-Waist brief and shape brief, both designed for tight fitting dresses and tops. While the brand’s Seduction and Get In Shape styles have also sold well.

Nigel Addison from Leia said, “We’re pleased to see such encouraging Wacoal sales so far since the brand launched with us. We believe that Wacoal will remain a popular brand with our customers, not only due to the high quality and great fit of the collections, but also due to the range of shapewear styles available. With Wacoal’s collections starting from an A-cup, we now offer a variety of lingerie collections for all cup sizes.”
