The key Italian and global fashion industry leaders showcased their lines of snazzy dapper menswear outfits at the just wrapped up edition of Milano Moda Uomo (Milan Men’s Fashion Week).

Internationally acclaimed design veteran Giorgio Armani featured the Spring 2015 collections from both his namesake labels. Replete with windowpane checks, fishnet patterns and stripes, the 100-piece Emporio Armani’s show Avant Garde displayed peacoats, snug bombers, mackintoshes, shiny shirts with short sleeves and tapered narrow leg trousers. The 79-year-old’s main eponymous line presented slouchy belted trench coats, boxy outerwear pieces, brightly striped tunic jackets and flowing trousers.

Internationally-acclaimed fashion house DSquared2, from the Canadian twin brother design duo Dean and Dan Caten, showcased their signature distressed denim heavy creations. The show presented jeans, jackets, khakis and blazers, decorated with appliqué patterns and prints inspired from the works of famous American artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol.

Italian lifestyle brand Gucci showed a nautical-themed catwalk parade which displayed some ship captain-inspired crisp cream, red and teal green coloured suit jackets with braided cuffs, few pirate like looks such as long shirts, striped blazers and gold buttoned trousers, as well as an array of sailor styled ensembles including side buttoned wide-legged trousers, red boat-neck sweaters and extremely wearable paint sprayed jeans.

Roman luxury fashion house Fendi, under the guidance of creative head Silvia Venturini Fendi, showcased an interesting range filled with everydaywear clothes including leather-mesh vests, suits, chinos and specially treated jeans that were marbled or faux-stonewashed to look like leather, shearling, cotton and silk jacquard fabrics.
