Famed French fashion house Carven displayed a line mixed with elements from both classic summer chic and practical workwear clothing. Designed by the label’s Parisian-based creative helm Guillaume Henry, the muted hued range included minimalistic lumber-jack check shirts, grey suits with ruffled elastic bands, zipper turtle-necks and contrasting coloured band adorned office shirts and panelled sweaters.

Italian fashion brand Valentino showcased a 52-piece range inspired from outsiders and freethinkers. Designed by the label’s joint creative duo Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, the line was decorated with butterfly appliqués, camouflage patterns and psychedelic flower and comic book style prints. The collection’s most standout pieces include silk baggy pyjama pants, 60s-style ethnic suede jackets, fitted rock ‘n’ roll satin burgundy and grey suits and free flowing caramel 4-piece suits.

Raf Simons, the extremely talented Belgian fashion designer and creative director of storied Parisian fashion house Christian Dior, showcased the latest instalment from his namesake label. A harmonious blend of Japanese and streetwear styles, the collection showcased white, navy and black toned long jackets with kimono like shawl-collar lapels, 19th century Japanese woodcut patterned vests and tight fit sweaters.

In addition to the fashion industry bigwigs, the Russian menswear specialist Gosha Rubchinskiy also presented his first-ever catwalk at the event. The 1980s sportswear-inspired presentation featured furry double-breasted jackets, leather blazers, brightly coloured sweatpants and military print shorts.
