Designer Monisha Jaising is all geared up to unveil her elite and dazzling ‘World Bride’ collection at the India Couture Week on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Taj Palace, New Delhi.

The line is called “World Bride” because it is created for a travelling bride who could be taking her vows anywhere in the world; in a Brahma temple of Rajasthan, a church in Vienna or a mosque in Beirut and concludes the celebration on a yacht docked at the regatta on the bay of Saint Tropez, wearing fuss-free, easy, and edgy clothing and still feels like a princess in the most luxurious and exquisite creation.

World Bride has an array of fresh, contemporary and sexy designs which "a-today's" bride can relate to. Monisha Jaising designs for a bride who is not bound by the usual norms of wedding attire.

The travelling bride gets a comprehensive range starting with concept saris, fitted gowns and the striking cropped kurti. The ensembles cater predominantly to the Indian market, focusing on the nuances of the modern Indian women. The vivid drapes and cuts are designed particularly to accentuate any body type.

At the India Couture Week, the audience will get an exclusive glimpse of the World Bride Collection.

Monisha has also shot a special campaign for this special line against the beautiful landscapes of Notting Hill, London. The location was perfect as the designer wanted to create a vintage yet modern set up. World Bride epitomizes grace, elegance and edge of the sophisticated modern bride.
