Pure London shortlists names for Buyers Power List Awards

Pure London recently announced the launch of its inaugural Buyers Power List; an awards ceremony in place to recognise and celebrate the contributions of individuals and companies to the fashion and footwear retail industry. Following the first round of nominations, Pure London has now revealed an esteemed shortlist of industry names in the running for the awards.
Organised by i2i Events Group, Pure London, is firmly established among brands, buyers and retailers within fashion, footwear and accessories as the UK’s premium buying event. The best of the business will be brought together at the forthcoming edition as key buyers are honoured at an awards evening, taking place on 4th August, 2014 at London Olympia, following the second day of the show.
The highly anticipated competition is comprised of six dedicated categories: Best Online Retailer, Best Department Store, Best Individual Buyer, Best Boutique/Independent Retailer (5 stores or less), Best Multiple Retailer (6 stores of more), and Best Footwear Retailer. The concluding award for Best Footwear Retailer will be sponsored by Central Trade, the UK distributor of Birkenstock. Robert Lusk, Managing Director of Central Trade Ltd, commented, “We are thrilled to sponsor this category and recognise the hard work, effort and initiative of UK footwear buyers.”
The competition’s impressive shortlist, featuring the top five names within each category, has come as a direct result of open nominations.
Following this exciting announcement, the finalists will now be invited to vote for their peers across the competition categories ahead of the all-important awards ceremony. Pure London will take place from 3-5 August, 2014 at London Olympia, where over 700 acclaimed brands across womenswear, young fashion, footwear and accessories will showcase forward-order SS15 and short-order AW14 collections.
The impressive line-up of brands includes: AV by Adriana Voloshchuk, Nataliya Couture, Manalena, Es’givien, Collectif Vintage, Vanilla Moon, Whistle and Wolf, Lashes of London,Paper Dolls, Sugarhill Boutique, Justicia Ruano, Fever, Sol Sana, Mooch, Sam Ubhi, Golusnski, Fraas Scarves, Caths Belgium, Havva, Cleo B, Geox, Peter Kaiser, Birkenstock, Fiorelli, Nica, Modalu, Fred’s Shoes, Air & Grace London, Yull, Moda in Pelle, and Ipanema.
