Caroline Issa, the fashion director of UK’s independent quarterly art and fashion magazine Tank, has created her first-ever line for the American upscale fashion retailer Nordstrom.

The Canadian-born and America-educated streetstyle editor’s new ready-to-wear, 25-piece, Spring/Summer 2015 capsule collection will feature pieces that are essential to a woman’s wardrobe.

Slated to hit some 53 Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com from February, 2014 onwards, the Nordstrom Signature x Caroline Issa line, which will reflect the fashion star’s personal style, would be continually updated for the next spring, pre-fall, fall and resort assortments.

Other than designing the range, which will include an array of dresses, coats, jackets, cashmere sweaters and blouses, the style guru will also model for the collection,

Before designing the collection with the US retailer, the fashion aficionado, who also works as an editor for the online magazine Because, has earlier collaborated with labels like Jimmy Choo and LK Bennett. She has also worked as a management consultant for Nordstrom in San Francisco.

Founded in 1901, Nordstrom operates through a network of more than 271 stores spread across over 36 states.
