The one-off pieces have been traditionally handmade with British alpaca and premium quality wool yarns which have been dyed in Britain with adherence to Global Organic Textile standards.
The chunky piece has been modeled by another North Circular co-founder and former English fashion model Lily Cole.
Known for his elegantly draped sexy silhouettes, Mouret is a regular participant in the Paris fashion weeks. He was recently being picked up by the online luxury fashion retailer Net-A-Porter to be a part of its environment-friendly capsule collection venture with sustainable fashion supporting project Green Carpet Challenge.
Founded in 2009, North Circular designs are exclusively hand-knitted with British produced wool or fibres derived from rescued Wensleydale sheep. Known for its luxury bespoke knitwear with cottage industry style production, the label is a proud recipient of the British Fashion council award and RSPCA good business award. (PB)
