Indian film maker Karan Johar has recently launched an exclusive limited edition collection in collaboration with the European high-street women’s fashion brand Vero Moda.

Titled as Marquee, the line, which is a perfect blend of street fashion and latest trends, was unveiled at a catwalk event in Mumbai attended by the who’s who of Bollywood and fashion fraternity.

The runway show featured long sleeve knee skimming dresses, flowing loose fit tops and body hugging numbers.

Hindi film actress walked as the showstopper in a glittery black and silver short skirt paired with a matching jacket and a printed grey t-shirt at the fashion do.

The fashion event was attended by celebrities like Gauri Khan, Varun Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Anurag Kashyap, Huma Qureshi, Manish Malhotra, Lisa Haydon, Shamita Shetty, Sanjay Kapoor, Sophie Choudhry, Raveena Tandon, Purab Kohli, Neha Dhupia, Rinzing Denzongpa, Sonal Chauhan, Saqib Saleem, Nandita Mahtani, Elli Avram, Arjun Bajwa and Siddharth Shukla.

Started in 1987, owned by Bestseller India, Vero Moda is a contemporary young fashion brand which operates with a network of some 61 stores and nearly 85 shop-in-shops in India.

Bestseller India currently has 96 exclusive brand outlets and is present in over 250 shop-in-shops in external multi-brand stores throughout India. The company offers clothing under three brand names- Jack and Jones, Vero Moda and Only.

Bestseller India is a part of the Danish family-owned fashion company with the name Bestseller. Founded in 1975, the firm is currently present in 46 countries through more than 2,800 chain stores and 12,000 external multi-brand stores. (PB)
