The Indian-based fashion design institution Whistling Woods-Neeta Lulla School of Fashion (WWNL) is prepping up to host a series of fashion-led workshops for the young fashion enthusiasts.

In its constant endeavour to continuously nurture creativity and design sense within the minds of aspiring designers, wanting to be a part of this glamorous fashion industry, the event series will organize interactive sessions conducted by some of the leading industry experts.

Dubbed as Fashion Dialogue Series, the workshops will aim to educate the participants about the dos and don’ts, ways to breakthrough, challenges and the available opportunities in the fashion industry.

Slated to kick off on November 15, 2014, the first session will be hosted by the school’s external mentor Karan Berry and Leon Vaz, the co-founder of the bridal, couture and eveningwear brand, Karleo.

The workshop series will also showcase work on Visual Merchandising done by the students of the school under the guidance of Karan Berry and shoe designer and internal faculty Avneet Jotwani.

The Visual Merchandising sessions give insight on the creative and commercial aspect of visual merchandising and how it affects a brand’s image, awareness and attract buyers.

Jointly founded by the Bollywood film maker Subhash Ghai and fashion stylist, Neeta Lulla, WWNL is spearheaded academically by the designer herself and a team of guest faculty comprised of fashion industry experts. The school aims to create the next generation of fashion designers and fashion industry professionals. (PB)
