Nautica unveils Sportswear Holiday 2014 Collection

Nautica, the US-based apparel brand, has recently unveiled its latest Sportswear Holiday 2014 Collection for both men and women.

Replete with bright colours, designs and nautical details, the menswear range includes stylish, cosy and classic outerwear and smart layer-appropriate outfits. The line features mixed media collar incorporated classic peacoats, white, navy and grey hued parkas with bright zippers, orange lined hooded navy utility jackets, quilted red jackets with warm shearling hoods, zip-up cardigans with toggles and shawl collared cable-knit cardigans.

Based on a cheerful palette of coral, orange and blue hues, the line also offers horizontal stripe t-shirts, tapered lounge pants, dark denim trousers and an array of sweaters with v-neck, crew neck and zip up silhouettes.

Celebrating the spirit of the holiday season with bright, bold colours and rich design details, the womenswear entry is divided into three segments and is replete with plush fabrics and classic, nautical accents.

Staying true to the brand’s nautical heritage, the line’s Winter Harbor collection, which includes turtlenecks, cowl neck pullovers, woollen pea coats, colour blocked quilted vests with detachable fur hoods, velveteen motorcycle jackets and wide-legged zip pants, is enhanced with sailor and rugby stripes.

The second entry Glacier Bay features a clean and crisp colour palette of white, grey and pops of yellow. The standouts include cushy contrast cable front sweaters, chunky turtlenecks with zipper accents and skinny velveteen pants.

The final delivery Port Royal embraces holiday with its rich textures, fabrics and colour palette of navy, white and pastel lilac. The versatile pieces are cowl neck ponchos, crochet stripe pullovers and stretch cotton faille coats.

While commenting on the new collections, the brand’s creative director, Chris Cox, says, “The holidays remind us of tradition and warmth, which our pieces reflect this season. This Holiday collection ensures you can step out into the cold for any occasion without sacrificing your signature style and comfort.”
