The Sri Lankan apparel exporter Brandix Group is prepping up to stage a unique fashion show at the upcoming edition of Sri Lanka Design Festival (SLDF).

Slated to take place on December 6th, 2014 in Colombo, the parade themed Urban Collective will feature an amalgamated representation of the expertise and products of the diversified textile business units owned by the group.

Aiming to highlight the design skills of the company’s in-house designers, the runway event will focus on the group’s proficiency in the manufacture, finishing and printing of fabrics as well as bespoke clothing creations.

The show will display functional yet fashionable day and eveningwear clothing in casualwear, intimate apparel and lingerie categories.

Also the group’s capabilities in Essentials and Finishing alongside the designs by its integrated partners, such as Brandix Textiles, Textured Jersey Lanka and Quenby Lanka Prints, will be showcased at the parade.

One of the pioneers of the concept of ‘total solutions’ in Sri Lanka’s apparel sector, Brandix supplies products to some of the top retail brands in the US and Europe. The group is also a recipient of an international award for eco-friendly manufacture and commitment to environmental best practices.

Slated to be held from 4th to 7th, 2014, the Sri Lanka Design Festival is one of South Asia’s most business-friendly and commercially successful global platforms for design and related industries. (PB)
