The American holistic health, wellness and yoga expert Tiffany Cruikshank has teamed up with Brazilian activewear brand Liquido to launch an exclusive line of stylish and socially conscious fitness clothing.
Currently available for purchase at Yoga Journal Live centres, the limited-edition line is meant for bold, confident and fashionable women who have an active lifestyle.
Speaking about the range, Cruikshank explains “This line was created to support the fashion forward woman with an active lifestyle to effortlessly transition through the different phases of her day.”
Conceptualized and designed by the US Yoga guru in collaboration with the sportswear brand’s s global distributor, Renata Facchini, the range was created in response to a growing demand for robust and functional fitnesswear with beautiful and stylish designs.
While talking about the association with the fitness expert, Facchini remarks “Tiffany used to help me choose patterns and styles at Liquido HQ. We had so much fun doing it that the idea of a signed collection by her emerged.”
“Our items are becoming incredibly popular with women across the world. We hope that, through these limited edition items, we can look to extend our charitable donations across the entire Liquido range,” she adds.
The collection features four patterns of pants, as well as sports bras and workout tops in five different colours. The patterns have been named as Soul Sister, Kindred Spirit, All For One and Grateful Heart.
The line is being launched in conjunction with Cruickshank’s Yoga Medicine initiative and a percentage of all sales will be donated to education and wellness projects throughout India, including The Nabadisha Education Project, which addresses education and support issues for street and working children in the heart of Kolkata (India).
Started in Sao Paolo in 2001, Liquido specialises in creating functional yet fashionable pieces including yoga pants and sports bras.
An international yoga teacher, author and health and wellness expert, Cruikshank is known for her ability to combine over two decades of dedicated yoga practice and study in holistic medicine. (PB)
