JOFW's preview shows Pantaloons and Dorothy Perkins

A spectacular preview celebrating the opening of Jabong Online Fashion Week (JOFW) season two was recently held in New Delhi.
The event staged a series of catwalk shows featuring creations for latest and upcoming seasons from some leading local designers and labels including the popular clothing retail chain Pantaloons.
The retailer showcased latest ensembles from its ethnicwear brands like Akkriti, Rangmanch, and Trishaa alongside casualwear labels including Candies-New York and SF Jeans-San Frisco.
The preview also featured collections of up and coming designers such as Aesthetical Cubes, Sougat Paul, Nitya Bajaj, Preeti S Kapoor, Niket Mishra and Kanika Goyal as well as established names like Siddartha Tytler and Poonam Bhagat.
Bollywood star Kay Kay Menon walked the ramp for Rahul Singh, model Carol Gracias walked for Flirtatious by Aakriti Grover while actress Esha Gupta was a showstopper for Jaya Misra. The stylish Kalki Koechlin was seen walking for Niharika Pandey and former beauty queen Neha Dhupia was a showstopper for Poonam Bhagat.
In addition to the aforementioned runway presentations, the event also witnessed the launch of UK-based high-street brand Dorothy Perkins in India. The womenswear specialist highlighted its 1970s-inspired Spring/Summer 2015 collection, which is exclusively available on Jabong.
Commenting on the preview, Praveen Sinha, MD and founder, Jabong says, “We are delighted to witness a great response at the exclusive preview of Jabong Online Fashion Week. The preview show, along with setting the tone for the upcoming online fashion shows, has also strengthened our prospects in the new-age fashion and scout for talent throughout India.”
Speaking about the JOFW designers’ line up, he adds, “The winners have outshined, and have strengthened our belief in the very concept of JOFW. The collections of all designers were not only admirable but simply beyond our expectations.”
