Indian online shopping destination Jabong has showcased some of its latest childrenswear looks at the India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW), a runway-centric platform aimed to boost the country’s growing kidswear market.

The e-commerce retailer, who was also one of the associate sponsors of the event, highlighted the new Spring/Summer 2015 pieces from its exclusive childrenswear labels like Evolve and Zucchini.

Arun Chandra Mohan, founder and CEO of the web purveyor, spoke about the collaboration with the soiree in a press statement, “This is our first association with the India Kids Fashion Week and response is overwhelming. The Mumbai edition that took place yesterday showcased SS 15 collections of our exclusive kids’ brands Evolve and Zucchini.”

“Now we look forward to the Delhi edition on March 1st, which unveils SS 15 collection of our exclusive international brands- Fox Kids along with Tommy Hilfiger Kids and Elle Kids,” he further talked about the company’s participation in the event’s forthcoming instalment next month.

While commenting on the burgeoning demand of childrenswear in the market, the CEO revealed, “I am happy to see kids fashion finding its ground in the country. Kidswear is one of the fastest growing categories at Jabong, with 400 per cent year on year growth last year.”

Jabong’s showcase at The Lalit Mumbai hotel displayed trendy graphic T-shirts, stylised bottomwear, printed dresses and smart shirts by Zucchini. Evolve presented Indo-western wear and party dresses in bright hues at the show. (PB)
