The Indian television actress-turned-fashion designer Roshni Chopra has launched her second collection for Spring/Summer 2015 season, Daughter of the forest.

Drawing inspiration from the wild free-spirited fertile forests, the range is a harmonious amalgamation of structured silhouettes and drapes with fine fabrics based in a mixed palette of vibrant purple, green, turquoise, blue and red alongside soothing tones of beige, pristine white and timeless black.

The handcrafted luxury collection is enhanced with leather appliqués and traditional embroidery techniques like zardozi, badla, French knot, ari, cutwork and thread work.

The range features fitted skirts with thigh-high slits, sleeveless midriff baring tops, sheer capes, tunics, kaftans, dresses, kurtas, palazzos, jackets, harem pants and flowing lightweight long skirts.

Roshni Chopra’s brand, symbolised by classic cuts, traditional fabrics and unusual pairings, creates a melange of ‘Indian eclectic clothing’ for the modern woman who likes to use her outfit as a medium for her expression. (PB)
