More than 100 designers from across the country will showcase their creativity at the upcoming 25th instalment of Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW), due to take place from March 25 to 29, 2015 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Celebrating ingenious trends and spirited hues, the Autumn-Winter 2015 style showcase will feature creations from well-known names like Abraham and Thakore, JJ Valaya, Namrata Joshipura, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rina Dhaka, Malini Ramani, and Pankaj and Nidhi.

In addition to the aforementioned catwalk presenters, the five-day event will also feature stalls from popular designer labels including Rohit Bal, Ranna Gill, Tarun Tahiliani, Gauri and Nainika, Indian by Manish Arora, Payal Pratap and Geisha Designs (by Paras and Shalini).

Revealing the line-up and schedule, Sunil Sethi, president of Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), said in a media communication, “This year, we have a robust list of magnificent designers, who will showcase their work, setting fresh codes at the AIFW.”

“We are delighted to present 25 vibrant shows in alliance with our new sponsor Amazon India. We see this relationship as a new vista for fashion designers wanting to connect with their digitally savvy customers,” he added.

Vikas Purohit, head fashion, Amazon India said, “We are very excited to partner with FDCI and celebrate the artistic expressions of India’s outstanding talent pool of designers; bring regional fashion and selection to the fore, take Indian fashion to the global stage and more importantly take it to the doorstep of our customers.”
