The Ghana Fashion & Design Week (GFDW) will be held from October 23 to October 25 in the capital Accra.

The pioneering international fashion and design business event will be packed with exciting business activities themed “Fashion Restated”, GFDW said in a statement.

The Ethikha platform which highlights ethical fashion and sustainability development, will be dedicated to designers and social enterprises committed to driving social impact through fashion and design innovation, to improve the lives of society’s underprivileged.

The event will turn the world’s focus on Accra, as an emerging and growing fashion capital. GFDW will have a segment called New Talent Spot to focused on developing new graduates in fashion and design and will honour three new best fashion design graduates of 2015 from Radford University College.

We are excited, and can not wait to see the previous 2014 selected RUC Graduate – Afua Biney’s premier collection at the fashion week this October!.”
