Chinese e-commerce site Moonbasa to launch US Brand Mall

China's leading fashion e-commerce platform, Moonbasa, will officially launch a US Brand Mall providing a portal for US fashion brands to access Chinese consumers at the 3-day WWDMAGIC trade show in Las Vegas which begins on August 17, it said in a press release.

Based in Los Angeles and Shanghai, Moonbasa CEO Don Ho is a successful entrepreneur who began his career in the apparel business as a contractor before moving into manufacturing, retail and now the e-commerce space opening China's immense market for US fashion brands.

“I saw I could help US manufacturers open a huge market for a nominal cost and also serve the Chinese consumers by bringing the style and quality of US fashion brands at affordable prices,” said Ho. He brings expertise in both the Chinese and American fashion markets that will drive the success of this new platform.

Launched in 2007, Moonbasa is a fashion destination for 360 million Chinese consumers and 40 million registered members. The US fashion Mall enables American brands to set up custom online stores supported by Moonbasa's turnkey platform that includes image uploading, translation, logistics, customer service and performance marketing, the release said.
