Anna Pereira criticizes celebrity images for undermining talented young designers

Fashion designer, artist and founder of Super Sexy Clothing (www.supersexyclothing.com), Anna Pereira stated that the celebrities, who are not professionally designers, are brutally destabilizing her work and of the other skilled fashion designers.

The talented youth is anticipating to becoming big designers, but get demoralize when they realize the reality of the industry, which is now more dominated by the famous names then the real talent and creativity.

How ever there are some celebrities who have designed great lines. This industry, which was always competitive and has high risk, has become an even more harder for up and coming talent due to these celebrities.

Criticizing Jessica Simpson she said, “Why can't these celebrities just do what they have to do? “. Jessica is the most recent celebrity to join the designer bandwagon. As a singer, actress, and TV personality, how much of time is Jessica really putting into these designs? our guess is …none,” Anna added.

She explained that her appointed staff of underling designers would sketch up some designs for Jessica, from this design some will be selected to be stamp on with her namesake and celebrity image to shipped off to major stores where they will sale off easily.

Anna said that fashion is about expression, individuality of a person and making a statement to others.
