Brazilian Textile and Confection Industry Association (ABIT) annouces that Horizonte launches Ecoblue ecological jeans. The new fabric is the result of an experience involving Interage line products with articles geared towards laundry work.
The Ecoblue name was created from two important characteristics of the product. The color “blue” was developed in the same tone of indigo and the word “eco” brings the prefix of the word ecology, since the chemical dye does not harm nature.
According to Pollyanne Lessa Boczar, Horizonte director, EcoBlue has many advantages and these put the company at the head of the fabrics market.
“The new line has less polluting agents than indigo in the dyeing formula and after washing, the fabric does not fade like indigo,” affirms Pollyanne. The Ecoblue line is available in two differentiated fabric bases, Merino EcoBlue and Across EcoBlue, which add value to the final piece.
Horizonte was already active in the jeanswear market with its Neojeans line, which is geared towards pieces with a raw appearance, without washings or fading. The launch of Ecoblue expands the offer for customers who wish to work with all types of Fashion Washings, and who are concerned about responsible consumption.
Horizonte is celebrating its 11th anniversary and is currently among the main weaving mills in the country. The company has just undergone brand reformulation and takes advantage of the occasion to present its new visual identity, highlighting the Fabrics & Ideas concept.
