Wolford's Leg & Bodywear collection for the season Fall/Winter 2006/07 shows sophisticated craftsmanship, combines new and favourite materials with unique shapes and extraordinary decor. Fashion in general is showing a new seriousness, reminiscent of purism and minimalism and leaning towards toned colours. At a closer look, however, there are many decorative and ornamental details. Wolford's inspiration is based on three themes.

The theme LA GARCONNE works with the classic patterns of Brit Chic and with masculine pinstripes and glen checks. The models of the BYZANTIUM theme are richer and more decorative, as an interpretation of the folkloristic and architectural influences of Eastern Europe. With the theme ART DECO, the graphic, geometrical designs of the Vienna Workshop and Art Nouveau are used in a very feminine way.

New are skirts and pants in a light wool mix, which emphasize the waist or hip with a wide elastic band made from classic Wolford knit material. Depending on the mood or the occasion, this wide attached band can be pulled smoothly over the chest, and voilà, the skirt becomes a cocktail dress and the pants present themselves with an elegant bustier. Perfect for the office with a blouse or sweater underneath, and great for evening events with bare shoulders.

Other collection highlights are satin blouses, bolero jackets, two luxurious cashmere lines, a wool ensemble – consisting of a suit with very precise lines, a dress and a matching coat - a delicate Cache Coeur with a lacy trim, sexy opaque/transparent bodies and a line of accessories. Three warm scarves in Merino wool or cashmere/silk, a wool cap, two light scarves in delicate pastel colours and three belts round out the collection.
