Fashionable clothing provider Blue Holdings Inc announced it has entered into a ten-year License Agreement, effective July 1, 2005, with Yanuk Jeans LLC ("Yanuk"), a Los Angeles, California-based designer of men's and women's premium denim.
Under the terms of the License Agreement, Blue Holdings will be the exclusive licensor for the design, development, manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of Yanuk's products to the wholesale and retail trade.
Blue Holdings will pay to Yanuk a royalty of six percent (6%) of all net sales of the licensed products. Yanuk is wholly owned by Paul Guez, Blue Holdings' Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, and a majority shareholder. The License Agreement was approved by a majority of Blue Holdings' Board of Directors, including all of its independent directors.
