Swiss watch maker Audemars Piguet has opened its new store in Spain.
Audemars Piguet now enjoys a place of honour in Valencia, the city hosting the 32nd edition of the America's Cup. A new dedicated area within the luxury jeweller's Armando Martinez, on Rue Cerdan de Tallada, was duly inaugurated on June 9th 2005.
This means that all the new models as well as the entire Prestige Sports, Classics, Contemporary and Ladies' collections are now available in the sailing capital. An open invitation to unconditional fans and to all those wishing to discover the timepieces by the Manufacture and the Audemars Piguet–Alinghi limited series!
During the inauguration cocktail, over 300 guests from Valencia's high society sipped Margueritas in the company of Mr. Armando Martinez and Audemars Piguet representatives. Alinghi members, including the team co General Manager Grant Simmer, also joined in the festivities.
The company offers the world's broadest range of watch complications, along with prestigious Haute Joaillerie creations. Its experience in the field of complex watches make it a standard of reference in the highly select circle of Haute Horlogerie companies.
Audemars Piguet prospered and developed, coming through World War I and the Great Depression without being unduly affected, thanks to the production of ladies' wristwatches and ultra-thin models. When World War II ended, the Manufacture reorganised to create a more accessible line of watches.
