Close on the heels of Hari Raya, people are making a beeline around tailor shops to make sure that their outfits are perfect and cracking.

Owner of Alyaa Beauty and Boutique in Kuala Belait, Dyg Masnani binte Rafiee informed that Nyonya Kebaya, a traditional embroidered blouse worn with a batik sarong by women is reviving itself this year.

Nyonya Kebaya is dress for all seasons and occasions. It is sensuous, feminine, elegant and yet fashionable at the same time. Modern Kebaya is now-a-days designed keeping in mind the wishes of the customers.

To give it modern touch, it can be worn with pants and can easily be used as a jacket over a simple sleeveless, spaghetti-strapped dress or tank top.

This season one can also see the traditional Baju Kurong which is popular as well with its intricate beadwork and embroidery looks as the famous choice this season.

No outfit is fit without the use of proper attire, accessories and shoes. Sparkling brooches, dangling earrings, matching handbags and silk scarves as they are some of the items which are in demand this festive season.
