Leading casual apparel, accessories and footwear specialty retailer Pacific Sunwear of California Inc reported that total sales for the five weeks of fiscal June ending July 2, 2005, were $120.6 million, an increase of 14.5% over total sales of $105.3 million during the same period last year.
Total company same-store sales increased 4.5% during the same period. By concept, PacSun same-store sales increased 4.9% and d.e.m.o. same-store sales increased 0.5% compared to the same five-week period last year.
Total sales for the first 22 weeks of fiscal 2005 were $481.2 million, an increase of 13.7% over total sales of $423.3 million during the same period last year. Total company same-store sales increased 2.9% during the same period. By concept, PacSun same-store sales increased 3.1% and d.e.m.o. same-store sales increased 1.9% compared to the same 22-week period last year.
