ABIT's Men's Fashion Committee to sponsor Men's Fashion Fair

The Autumn/Winter edition of the 15th Salão da Moda Masculina (Men's Fashion Fair) will be held January 23 thru 26, 2007 at the Serra Park Exhibit Pavilion in the city of Gramado, state of Rio Grande do Sul.

Twenty-six of the main manufacturers of fashion and accessories for men will introduce the trends that will be in all the shop windows throughout the country during the country's cold season. The event is sponsored by ABIT's Men's Fashion Committee.

The Fair is a reference for the professional buying public – resellers, storeowners, retailers and large stores from around Brazil and abroad. It is responsible for an average of 30 percent of all business made by exhibiters during the year.

According to the event's organization, the autumn/winter business shall also present a 20 percent increase over the previous edition.

Established as most important and qualified event of the sector in the entire country, the Salão da Moda Masculina is also a meeting place for international companies interested in Brazilian products.

Traditionally, buyers for Italy, Portugal, Greece, Angola, Paraguay, Argentina, United States, Holland, New Zealand and Uruguay visit the Fair's launches, positioning it as an important window to Brazilian men's fashion for international consumers.
