Stylist Tommy Simon brought the sea, fishermen, surfers and divers to the catwalk. The Redley winter collection thought of the cold sea waters and invested in heavier fabrics such as wool, biotech nylon, moleton, cotton tricot and flannel, especially used in parkas, trench coats and wind breakers (used by fishermen on days with rough seas).
The prints bear the same references: scales, corals, starfish, waves and plaids with fishnet weaves. The shapes are comfortable, utilitarian, even though the bermudas have a tailored cut. The brocade work and sequins that create a shiny patchwork in the format of scales are the highlights. They also get also pure silk, trapezoid dresses in knits with satin cutouts and full tunic blouses.
They also shine in pieces like the bermudas and metalized blazers. Pieces in vinyl, nylon jackets, overalls, capes, and cardigans like large fishnets complete the “Home, salty Home” collection.
