Modeling with competence: Acqua Studio

During a week in which modeling is being summarized in balloon cuts and skinny pants, OFF coordinator Esther Bauman and stylist Wilson Ranieri got it right when they left the obvious behind and recovered the pencil skirts, but mainly when they invested in the creative modeling of cutouts with zippers, blazers over dresses that in reality are a single piece, skirts without waistbands, short jackets with frontal gores at the waist, shirt with skirt that is also a single piece, all in the same fabric.
Several pieces look like one thing and are another. This playful approach, made with noble fabrics and perfect and feminine cuts, is a rare moment of pleasure. Besides that, classically tailored pieces such as shirts and pants in silk with metalized or pin stripes. The skirts tied on the side are another highlight, giving them natural volume.
Plaids are also well-resolved in dresses, short jackets and pants. Oh, and then there are the gloves...
