Jewelry designer Roopa Vohra exhibits 'Champagne collection'

Jewellery designer from Mumbai, Roopa Vohra exhibited her jewellery collection, Champagne Collection priced Rs 25,000 and above for women of all age groups.

Inspired by ancient Mughal jewelry art thewa and nakkashi, her creations are a mix of traditional mughal art and fusion of modern designs which use an unusual combination of gold in glass and embedded jewels. Her necklaces were with typical curves in piercing shades

“Each and every accessory is original and different from the other. When I design I make it a point that every design stands out for itself and that is my unique selling proposition. Earrings to necklaces are special in themselves and I have devoted ample time on each piece designed,” Roopa Vohra explained.

Roopa has researched for around 7 years in Cyprus and traveled to Turkey, Russia which are famous for its orthodox churches and architectural buildings adorned with awesome works like thewa and nakkash.

Roopa has been designing jewelry since past ten years. She owns two outlets in Mumbai and factories where intricate designs are created by craftsmen.
