Cotton clothes, delight of summer

With approaching summer, millions of people in Pakistan are preparing themselve to face the itching weather and started redoing their wardrobes.

In this season, elegant floral prints and shades with colourful summer fabrics are enveloping the market rapidly.

Light materials in light colours are usually agreeable dresses during summer. Fabrics include lawn, cotton, georgette, khaddi and other light materials and colours such as pastels, white, off-white or cream.

White is the most preferred colour in lace, fabrics and other clothing items.

Lawn and cotton fabric exhibitions are organized in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad where textile mills offer their latest varieties like colourful dresses with elegant embroidery.

Cloth merchants are offering new collections of garments made of soft materials like Chinese silk, chiffon, cotton and other varieties but fashionistas are looking for new trends in fabric and textures.

Women prefer to wear outfits with flowery prints in whites, light blues, lilacs and purples and stay away from darker colours. Men choose thick or thin cotton clothes specially colour of white, grey, light blue and pale shades which gives cool feeling in the sweltering summer.
