The fifth edition of the Autumn/Winter 2007/2008 Teen Fashion will be held April 10 thru 12 at Terraco Daslu, in Sao Paulo. This pioneer event in fashion and behavior in Latin America is destined for youths. It was created in 2005 by businesswoman Sara Kalili, and over the three days of fashion shows it gathers collections from 9 youth segment brands. ABIT and Sinditextil-SP provide institutional support for the event.

The 5th edition of Teen Fashion brings Street Art to the young public. Street art is a contemporary means of expression that uses graffiti as one of its main forms, and where it is important to take the art beyond the four walls, adding life and color to the gray metropolises.

And as a representative of this new artistic movement, this edition beings as special guest, street artist Rodrigo Yokota, better known as “Whip” who has already done several works in Brazil and abroad: England and Malaysia. The Teen Fashion public can check out “Whip's” talent up close. He has united urban art, manga traces and fashion culture to create the main illustration and all visual communication for the event.

The event grows each season. According to Sara Kalili, “the growth of the Teen Fashion event shows that the youth market is in constant expansion, and as part of this positive scenario, the event becomes indispensable for brands to get closer to the consumer, who driven by the speed of virtual world information, is ever more demanding with regardto the valorization of his/her own OFF: not to mention the social concern, which is reinforced with each edition.”
