Liz Claiborne ties up with Kellwood's Halmode Division

The latest fashions provider Liz Claiborne Inc announced it has reached an agreement with Kellwood's Halmode division to license J.H. Collectibles dresses and Emma James women's dresses and suits collections.

Under the agreement, Kellwood's Halmode division will be responsible for the design, manufacturing and marketing of the new lines, according to Stephen L. Ruzow, president of Kellwood's Womenswear Division. Both lines will be available in stores nationwide beginning Spring 2006.

"Providing our consumers with the products and designs they want is our priority," said Barbara J. Friedman, president of Licensing for Liz Claiborne Inc. "Halmode's expertise in and knowledge of the dresses and suits market will help us deliver the quality and innovative design consumers of J.H. Collectibles and Emma James demand and have come to expect from these brands."

"The J.H. Collectibles dress collection will deliver soft, relaxed designs in trend-right colors, patterns and textures with an artistic feel. The Emma James dresses and suits collection will offer this customer a feminine look that can take her from desk to destination," added Ruzow.

The Liz Claiborne dresses and suits collection has been licensed to Kellwood's Halmode division since 2003.

New York based Liz Claiborne Inc is a designing & marketing an extensive range of fashion apparel and accessories for women, men, teens, children and infants. The Company also markets fragrances for women and men. The 41 brands in the Liz Claiborne Inc. portfolio are available at more than 30,000 points of sale worldwide.

Consumer soft goods marketer Kellwood is also provide apparel specializes in branded as well as private label products, and markets to all channels of distribution with product specific to a particular channel.
