Fashion Business sells R$426mn in country & US$14mn abroad

Ricardo Saadi, from Cholet, from Ceará, a record holder of exports along the Fashion Business history, with sales of 400 thousand Euros to a purchaser from Spain, in January of 2006, received a sounding from Bloomingdale's agents, which may generate future orders to one of the biggest fashion retail chains in the United States.

Denise Roque, the brand's owner, added that, in this edition, Cholet made good contacts with purchasers from Jamaica, Venezuela, Mexico, Peru and Chile. “The purchasers requested material and I believe it's possible to close deals”, she said.

To Márcia Azzi Wainstok, from Lucidez, this was another profitable participation of the brand in the event. “We have always made good contacts at Fashion Business. We are visited by international purchasers brought by ABIT, what is very important to our businesses”, he commented.

Lucidez was one of the brands approved by the purchaser from Belgium, Dominique Yeung, who integrated the group of 32 international purchasers invited by ABIT, through the Texbrasil Program and supported by APEX-Brasil to participate in the event.

“I have a store in Belgium and I resell brands from different countries. I came to Brazil in search of men's and women's fashion and I did shopping here at Fashion Business, where I found high-quality products”, she affirmed. For the second time in the event, the purchaser Mona Ferrat, from the French Fashion and Style, had a good assessment of theevent as well.

“I loved the Victor Dzenk's, Squared's and Vivaz' collections, among others”, she mentioned. “I am already acquainted with the Brazilian fashion and there are high-quality products”, she added.
