The perfect modeling and tailored finishing of the pieces are Jefferson de Assis' strong points and they brought him to São Paulo Fashion Week.
In his debut, he was daring in a fashion show with an unusual opening with models entering on pianos that “paraded” over the catwalk. The shapes are the starting point and they range from tight-fitting to ample, following a well-defined path that mixes conceptual with commercial.
Jeans gain ruffles, cutouts and zippers that model the pieces. Jersey appears in trapezoid dresses with ties and chains, strips, ribbons; and ropes appear as details and even as the main piece, as in the dress made entirely of golden grosgrain rope reminiscent of the “giraffe women”.
IN the search for new materials, pieces in porcelain become shin guard buttons and even a beret. The mixture of fabrics results in a good effect, with emphasis on indigo, jersey and the tricolines and silk organza's, but sequins, elastic and fins create a good highlight and are used with creativity.
