China Shoetec closed with great success in Dongguan early this year in April. In response to the positive and encouraging feedback from exhibitors and buyers, 2006 China Shoes/China Shoetec will be staged again at Dongguan International Conference & Exhibition Center, Dongguan City, Guangdong, during April 21-24, 2006.

In addition, to accommodate the sourcing needs of international and domestic buyers, the organizers will launch 2006 Shanghai/China Shoes/China Shoetec during October 23-25, 2006 at Shanghai Exhibition Center, Shanghai, PR China.

A press conference will be held in Shanghai on September 8, 2005 to signify the new fair. The organizers, Messe Dusseldorf China Ltd and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd will officially announce the launch of the Shanghai event and report the progress of the Dongguan fair. Representatives from supporting associations will also be present to deliver speeches.

According to the organizers, April and October are golden seasons for sourcing. There are major trade fairs in Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the meantime. The timing of China Shoes?China Shoetec just fit into the sourcing trip of overseas and domestic buyers. With a larger scale in 2006, it is expected that both fairs will gather more buyers under one roof. The organizers revealed that they have already received many positive feedback and enquiries from exhibitors and buyers regarding the new arrangement and timing.

Exhibitor recruitment of 2006 Dongguan/China Shoes/China Shoetec was kicked off and the progress is very encouraging. Portugal Pavilion, who joined China shoe fair for the first time in 2005 China Shoes/China Shoetec, has confirmed to join the 2006 edition. Hong Kong Footwear Association Limited has signed up a long term agreement with the organizers and expands the Hong Kong Pavilion area in the coming Dongguan show by 30-40 percent.
