The ready to wear segment in women's ethnic wear is all set to change dramatically with the launch of WEVE, the second home grown brand from the house of TCNS Clothing Company, currently known for its W range of woman's wear.

It will be retailed exclusively through the Reliance Mart stores. The label is targeted at value conscious woman who look for great bargains but at the same time do not want to compromise on quality.

Comments Mr. Vijay Misra, CEO, W, “W has been a significant player in the women's wear category and we are glad to have been chosen as one of the partner's by Reliance. Through our new label WEVE, we would want to penetrate into the more budget conscious market and reach down the pyramid level."

"While our existing label W would continue to expand its product portfolio and retail presence and be positioned as a premium Women's wear brand, WEVE would target a larger consumer base that is more budget conscious.”

The organised retailing in India stands at Rs. 200 crore and there is growing awareness amongst the consumers. The Ready to Wear apparel Category has also witnessed consistent growth.

WEVE would be a value proposition for the customers offering them comfortable clothes with a scientifically derived sizing and fits.

The label is being retailed out of the first Reliance Retail outlet in Ahmedabad. The category of products would include Indian wear like Duppattas, Kurtis, Tops and Kurtas.
